Lauren S. Thurmond, Esquire

Lauren S. Thurmond is a partner with Hutchens Law Firm, concentrating her practice on the default servicing mortgage industry. Ms. Thurmond represents substitute trustees, national mortgage lenders, servicers and investors in foreclosure and creditors’ rights actions in North Carolina. Ms. Thurmond frequently speaks at educational seminars and industry conferences for lenders and mortgage servicers throughout the country.

Hilton (Hutch) Hutchens, Jr. brings energy and gumption to his position as the Default Servicing Litigation Managing Partner for the Hutchens Law Firm where he practices in the areas of Civil Litigation, Collections, Creditors’ rights and Foreclosure.

Hutch strives for success for the firm and for each of his clients:

Hutch is active in the community. He is currently serving on the Fayetteville Technical Community College Board of Trustees and was previously on their Foundation Board; he is the Attorney for Cumberland County Board of Elections, and member of the Board of Directors for the March of Dimes – Cape Fear Region. He also coaches an Under 6 team for the Fayetteville Youth Soccer Association.
